Select a delivery date at point of purchase... everyone's a winner!

Wouldn't it be easier if you could select a delivery date at the time of purchase rather than have to wait for a text and then re-arrange? Surely better for both customer and retailer?

Give the customer more flexibility when delivering his (her) items! This should be a focal point of internet-based shops. Your customers lead busy lives, your customer service does not recognise this at all. I have spent over £1000 on goods and am told that items will automatically be delivered coming Saturday morning - although i have told you that i'm abroad! Then you will hold the items for a maximum of 5 days - but i'm abroad! How about you wait until i'm back?
