Will the Graco Junior Maxi Car Seat - Sweet Princess fit a '56 plate Zafira?

Hi,

We've just bought a Graco Junior Maxi to go in our Vauxhall Zafira (56 plate), but I'm concerned about whether it is safe, as the seat belt buckle is right alongside the base. My wife thinks it is probably OK, though.

Can anyone advise me?

    hi James,

    Thanks for using the community,

    Your seat is OK in your car, you have more than 2 finger gap between the buckle and the red area of the seat, also with booster seats 'buckle crunch' is less of an issue as the stress is a lot less than on a typical forward facing installation.
    this is mainly due to the forward facing group 1 seat is securing the child in wear as a booster is there to lift the child up so as the shoulder strap is away from the neck, as the 3 point harness is securing the child to the car.
