What are the differences between the Sleeptight and the Precious Sleep Mattress?

I was wondering whether you could clarify what the difference is between the Baby Weavers Sleep Tight Foam Interior (120 x 60) and the Baby Weavers Precious Sleep Deluxe Foam Interior Mattress (120 x 60), apart from the price obviously? I can see that they are both the same depth (4 inches), but I don't know apart from this what the difference is. I can see the more expensive one appears to be made of more layers, is that better?

My son currently has a sprung mattress, but it is too soft for him, so was thinking foam might be better for him. Any advice would be appreciated.

Many thanks, Samantha

    Hello Samantha

Thank you for using the community.

The sleep tight foam mattress is a 4 inch hypo-allergenic foam with a easy care washable cover at 40 degrees.
The precious sleep mattress is again 4 inch hypo-allergenic foam with a soft quilted cover which is anti-dustmite, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and air- permeable. This can be washed at 60 degrees. it also has a moisture resistant cover.

A firm mattress is usually better and a sprung will last longer than a foam as the child gets older and heavier. But it is your personal choice.
Have you looked at our sound asleep deluxe sprung mattress which is a firmer sprung and with the same quilted cover as the precious sleep.

    Hello,

I had looked at the sound asleep deluxe sprung mattress too and was a bit put off by the fact that it is £10 cheaper in a bigger size!?!

    Will have to reconsider it.

Thanks very much for your help
