Will the Baby Weavers Shuffle Sp Car Seat - Galaxy Green fit a couple of cars?

How do I know if the Baby Weavers SP Car Seat is compatible with the cars I intend to use it in? I'm considering buying two - one for each set of grandparents but I cannot see where I would find out if the seat will work in their very different cars. Ta.

Sorry fo the delay, with regards to the mazda, it's been a bit of a nightmare, we are pretty sure that the seat will not fit the car due to the length of the buckle.

Hi, The cars in question are: a Mazda CX7, a Citroen Xsara estate and a Citroen Xsara Picasso. Unfortunately, both sets of grandparents are a bit too far away to be able to come to the store, especially the ones in Dorset which is a bit far really! Just catching up with yourself, with regards to the Xsara Estate, we can't see the seat fitting into he back seat, only the in the back, this is to do with the shape and softness of the seat. Thanks for using our community. Its great to see that you are interested in the Baby Weavers Shuffle SP car seat.

With this fitting into your ford fiesta and your fiat punto it should be fine however we can never guarantee a seat will fit unless physically testing it in the car ourselves. It would be great if you could pop down to our store here in Peterborough and speak to one of our car seat experts and they will be more than happy to test this inthe car for you.

The Baby Weavers Shuffle SP should fit fine in these cars, as they have the correct seat shape and buckle length for the seat to fit.

However with all car seats, we cannot guarantee a seat will fit the car correctly as models vary and it has not been physically tested in your car at our Mega-Store in Peterborough.

Sorry for the time it has taken to reply!

With regards to the Baby Weavers SP car seat, unfortunately no car seat is universal, and i would not be able to guarantee that this seat will be able to fit into any of the above cars.

However from my previous experience I could tell you that the 52 plate Renault Laguna will not be compatible with this seat as the buckles in the back seats stick out too much causing a problem called buckle crunch, and would result in a unsafe installation.

Regarding the Vauxhall Zafira, again like the above the buckles in your car stick out and would again result in a unsafe installation.

With the Renault Clio, this seat will fit into this car as long as you have the newer shape for year 2000. If you did have this shape Clio then the buckles are flush with the seats and you would get a nice tight and safely fitted seat.

If you could pop down to our Mega-Store here in Peterborough we would be more than happy to help you with any car seat problems you may be having.

Sarah - sorry for the time it has taken to reply. Regarding the Renault Laguna, there are many seats that will fit safely and securly into this seat but the Baby Weavers Shuffle will be a big struggle and a close fit. If you have a look on the Britax Website they have a fit finder that will be able to tell what seats from that brand are compatible with your vechical. Also Maxi-Cosi have the same on their website, here are the links;

The Baby Weavers shuffle has a low buckle Crunch point, which means that any car with buckles that stick out of the seats or are on a bit of tether are really hard to fit and most of the time do not fit correctly and safe. This would be the same outcome in your vehicle.

I replied by email but have had no response so far. We have a tiny girl - although she is 6 1/2 months now she is under 12lbs and very slight, she was born a bit too early. We have a Britax in the main family car but are looking for a seat for occasional use for our second car.

Hey Anne, Unfortunately I cannot seem to find a birth - 18Kg seat that is compatible with your car. With this fitting into your Saxo unfortunately this seat isn't compatible with your car as you have really long buckles in your car and these will make the seat be very unsafe in the car..

Your best bet would be to pop down to our store here in Peterborough and speak to one of our car seat experts and they will be more than happy to test any car seat in the car for you and this way will be able to find a seat to fit in your car.

Unfortunately I cannot guarantee that this seat will fit into either of the above mentioned cars without physically fitting them into the car either myself or by one of the car seat experts here at Kiddicare.
If you could pop down to our Mega-Store in Peterborough one of our car seats experts will be more than happy to help.

On the other hand from my previous experience I have managed to fit this seats into the 2002 Golf, and the 2009 peugeot. Although I cannot guarantee that it will fit because all cars are slightly different.

Unfortunately this seat wont fit into this car, this is because the buckles in the back of the seat are quite long and stick out. This then prevent you from pulling the seat tight enough to be safe.

Depending on what weight your child is depends on what seat would fit because this seat goes rear facing and forward facing. It your child is below 9kg they need to be rear facing and to fit this car you would be looking at an infant carrier such as the Baby Weavers Smart: http://kiddi.im//2531

Were as if your child is 9kg and can sit up on there own for about 30 minutes a time and been doing so for 2 months they can go forward facing. A seat that should fit this car would be the Britax Prince: http://kiddi.im//2532 Maxi Cosi Tobi: http://kiddi.im//2533 or the Be-safe Izi Comfort: http://kiddi.im//2534

These should all fit in your car however to be 100% sure I would need to test them into the car so if you could pop into our mega-store in Peterborough we can try all these seats into the car for you and find the best fitting one.

Our returns policy is that you get 365days return as long as the bosx hasn't been opened. But if you was to buy a seat and you found out that it wasn't to fit your car then you would have to return it at your own cost. Usually this cost about £20.

If you are still looking for a combination seat your best bet would be to go for something like the Britax First class plus http://www.kiddi.im//2542 as this is the most universal combination seat on the market. Also if you check on the britax fit finder http://www.kiddi.im//2543 this will give you a rough guide to whether or not this seat should go.

Hi could you please tell me if the baby weavers shuffle carseat will fit in the citroen c4 grand picasso (08 plate) The buckles are flush with the seat but the middle buckle is slightly raised and therefore my britax eclipse si wouldn't fit and wobbled all over the place, but was fine in the outer two seats. Am i best to go for the isofix version and wait until he can ride forward facing?

With this fitting into your car it should be fine. However without a physical test fit I can never guarantee a safe installation. It would be a great help if you could pop down to our store here in Peterborough and one of our car seat experts will be more than happy to test this in the car for you.

To be honest with you Richard I would advise to keep little one in the seat they are in at the moment as it is safer for the child to travel rear facing that it is for them to be forward facing, but providing they are sitting completely un aided and been doing it for 6 - 8 weeks and also being 9kg then they are OK to go forward facing.

I would advise going for the isofix seat as it is safer than the seat belt seat, because for one it stops user error in fitting the seat and also because the isofix points are welded to the chassis of the car in an impact the seat isn't going to go no where.

But the one thing with the isofix seat is that in both cars you need to have a top tether point in the cars. This is usually located in the boot of the car. If you check in both vehicle manuals under child safety restraints this should be able to locate to your where these points are.

I wonder if you can help me please - we have purchased the iso-fix babyweaver seat from the kiddiecare website & we will hopefully be installing it in my Renault clio 2004 - will this fit?
We have also purchased the non-iso-fix version for my partners 2006 Renault Clio - will this fit?

Any advice is appreciated - we live in Lancashire so too far to travel to your store unless there is one near preston (don't think there is)

With the shuffle isofix fitting your car it will be fine providing that the car has the isofix points and the top tether anchorage point too. This is usually located in the boot of the car.   Unfortuneately without a test fit i can't guarantee any seat will fit any car. If you check on the britax fit finder http://www.britax.co.uk/car-seats/fit... and this should give you a rough guide to which britax seats will fit these cars.

The Baby Weathers Opus and shuffle car seats should fit both of your vehicles.
This is because the buckles in both of the cars are flush so you will get a safe and secure fit but cannot be 100% sure without a visual test fit. If you could come down to our showroom in Peterborough we would be happy to test the seat for you

I bought the Baby Weavers Shuffle SP Isofix Car Seat back when i had a 2005 Audi A4 it fitted a dream in there and also had a safety check on it.

I then changed to a 2005 vauxhall astra estate and again it fitted like a dream and again had it safety tested to make sure.

Also i would like to say i highly recommend this car seat my son loves it.

I am interested in buying the Baby Weavers Shuffle SP Isofix Car Seat and I wanted to check first if it is going to fit into Renault Scenic (2003). Unfortunatelly, I will not be able to come over with the car and try before the purchase.

The other seat I was considering is the Britax Duo Plus. I was also wondering if the Baby Weavers Shuffle SP Isofix or the Britax Duo Plus Car Seat can be fitted with the car seatbelts or only with the isofix system?

The Baby Weathers Shuffle iso-fix will fit the Renault Scenic as long it has universal iso-fix and a top tether point (this information will be in the vehicle manual guide under child restraints). The Duo does have the seat belt option on the side of the seat and wityh the duo with the car that you have you wouldnt need that top teather when fitted. Unfortunately the baby weathers iso-fix doesn't have the seat belt option and has to be used with the top tether
